By bus and bike
Take the No. 96 LTD bus or the Express 96x from Eugene, and put your bike on the front of the bus. Once you get to Coburg, follow the driving directions, just a little over four miles. Please note that there are no busses on the weekends. You might have to stay until Monday to get a bus back to Eugene.
Driving (or walking, hoverboarding, or horseback riding)
From Eugene:
Go north from Eugene on Coburg Road. You’ll get to the town of Coburg after about five miles. Follow Coburg Road as it curves, and changes its name a few times. Just keep going.
Four miles past town you’ll get to the eleven mile marker. That means Lane’s Turn Road is coming up on your left. Turn left on Lane’s Turn, and watch for the farm on your right. River’s Turn farm is at 31139 Lane’s Turn Road, and there will be a sign to guide you.
From I-5 North or South:
-Take exit 199 toward Coburg/Natl Historic District
-You want to head east to head into the town of Coburg. So you’ll be taking a right on E. Pearl St if you’re coming from the north or a left onto Van Duyn Rd/E. Pearl St if you’re coming from the south.
-**Please** drive slowly through Coburg! The speed limit is 25 mph and it’s very easy to get a speeding ticket!
-After about 3/4 of a mile, take a right on Coburg Rd/S. Willamette St
-After about 1000 ft, take a left on W. Van Duyn St/Coburg Rd
-Continue on Coburg Rd for about 4 miles- there’s a turn onto “Coburg Rd N” that you don’t want to take!
-Four miles past town you’ll get to the eleven mile marker. That means Lane’s Turn Road is coming up on your left. Turn left on Lane’s Turn, and watch for the farm on your right. River’s Turn farm is at 31139 Lane’s Turn Road, and there will be a sign to guide you.
Here are some additional directions that I swiped from the seedgeeks:
Take Coburg Road north outta Coburg. Between milemarker 11 and 12, hang a left on Lane’s Turn Road. A hundred yards on, go over the small bridge, and hang an immediate right on the dirt road into River’s Turn Farm, 31139 Lane’s Turn Road. (Two caveats: please keep to the 25 mph speed limit in Coburg. The locals are rich on touristas. And second, there’s an occasional tendency for drivers going north outta Coburg to a) hang a right at the fire station on Coburg Road North, when they should go straight on Coburg Road and b) about 8? miles outta Coburg, there’s a temptation to keep going straight, onto Powerline road, as Coburg road sweeps grandly round to the left.)
