Who we are
First and foremost we are a group of friends and friends of friends who came together for the common cause of organizing this Convergence for Climate Action. We organize using consensus decision making and no group or individual has final say.
We are committed to building bridges to develop a unified strategy using diverse approaches to combat climate change and debunk the lies the fossil fuel industry sells for the purpose of convincing us that unsustainable fuel consumption is in our best interest. We want to learn and teach sustainable ways of living and organizing that we can share with others, so that future generations can exist in a more just and healthy world.
Many of us are not affiliated with the organized groups listed below; this being said, the groups below have played a very important role in bringing this convergence together.
