Request a booth at the convergence
Booth space is avaible for the climate convergence between Thursday August 9 - Sunday August 12. Please contact workshopswest@climateconvergence.org to register your booth as soon as possible.
- Please include a short description of your organizations work.
- Non-profits with budgets greater than $50,000 annually are asked to donate $10 / day of tabling.
Tabling fees are waived for activist groups whose budget is less than $50k.
- For-profits are asked to donate $25 / day of tabling.
- Your space will include only a table - if you can bring your own great!
- Presenters are STRONGLY encouraged to bring your own devices for shading your display area.

| The Convergence for Climate Action is committed to Earth-centered, community-based solutions to the climate crisis that foster local autonomy and self-sufficiency. We see big busines led, big business friendly “solutions” to the climate crisis as inherently opposed to this vision. We do not accept alternative energy sources that externalize their costs onto human and natural communities in the name of reducing carbon emissions. This includes but is not limited to nuclear power, “clean” coal, large scale ethanol and biofuels, carbon sequestration, trading, or offsets, and large dams. We believe these technologies have social and environmental costs that outweigh benefits they provide in regards to fighting climate change. We ask that any presentations on alternative energy technologies include a discussion addressing issues of consumption; we feel no future energy technologies can be considered sustainable without reductions in our energy and resource consumption. |
